Wine and Gastronomic tours

We offer the ultimate wine and gastronomic tours in Burgundy with a high level of exclusivity.
You will travel in small private parties, stay at Chateau de Villette, dine at the best restaurants, and visit wine cellars which rarely open their doors to the public. You will get an insider view, experience the taste from barrel and bottle, visit famous vineyards, and talk to the best winemakers. Enjoy the sights, aromas, and flavours of Burgundy as you increase your knowledge of wines

The experience
We normally organise three day tours which can mix and match any of the following activities:

  • Vintage wine tour; a specialist in old wines offers a sensational wine tasting experience of some of Burgundy's great vintage wines
  • Wine and Spa; The spa treatment commences with a relaxing soak in a traditional winegrowers hot tub complete with rose petals and red grapes. Continue with a full body massage with crushed grape seed and essential oils and to complete a warm re-generating grape-pulp body wrap and soothing head massage
  • Discovery Tour & tasting of some of Burgundy’s best known regional cheeses
  • Tasting with or dining with the great winemakers of famous vineyards in Meursault, Le Montrachet, Vosne Romanée, and Corton Charlemagne.
  • Stunning Scenic drive through vineyards, hills & villages of the Hautes Cotes de Beaune
  • Visit local food markets with an expert guide
  • Learning by hands on experience with our chef in his restaurant or at the chateau and learn how to best combine wine and food.
  • Witness artisan barrel making, cassis or cheese making
  • You can choose to combine travelling by car and bicycle in order to enjoy the best of the Burgundy.
Burgundy resident wine and food expertise
Your tour will be led by us and sometimes a expert collague depending on the activity. We are both passionate wine and food lovers and have settled in Burgundy for just that reason. Coen Stork sits on the national wine judging board and Catherine Stork, a great cook in her own kitchen, can source the best of local produce and knows the best Burgundy cooks. Through our personal network, we aim to give you an introduction to the experts in their field; winemakers, cooks and artisans.

Prices and Reservation
February until April is quiet but great months to get the most time and attention from winemakers and cooks.
May, June and September are beautiful months of the year for visiting Burgundy so our tours are likely to be very popular.

We are limiting our exclusive tour to a maximum of 10 places for one group so it would be advisable to reserve well in advance.
Included is all the accommodation, three or four-course lunches and dinners (with wine) at the chateau and at excellent restaurants. You will find our prices in the pricing section.
