Shooting parties

In the stunning and unspoilt Burgundy countryside we offer unique and exciting shooting and hunting on small and large game.

The Estates
We have access to over 2800 hectares of shooting and hunting. This includes our domain as well as neighboroughing estates.
We have several large lakes and more than 15 smaller lakes, over 1500 hectares of woods, with the remainder of rolling countryside with fields, hedges, mature trees and streams.
You will enjoy some challenging shooting on a hilly and varied terrain with breathtaking views and surroundings. Part of the shoot is in the century old park of the Chateau.

The shooting and hunting
Our estate is unique for its wild red partridge and wild duck. We receive a rare government grant to sustain the wild partridges.
Our neighboroughing estates have released game to ensure bigger and more consistent bags.
We offer walked-up or driven red partridge, pheasant and wildfowling as well as wild boar, roe and red deer hunting.

The days
We will endeavour to organise the days to suit your requirements, but in general, a 3 day visit will look like the following (we also organise daily, 2 and 4 day visits):
Day 1; wildfowling. This starts with first light for wildfowling at several lakes including a lunch at the chateau. Several duck (wild or released) duck drives will fill in the day, sometimes snipe or woodcock. The day finishes with further wildfowling at sunset at one of our spectacular lake-side settings.
Day 2; Driven Wild Boar.... A complete day of wild boar or deer hunting. Depending on the size of your group this could include the excitement of driven boar with dogs.
Day 3; Driven partridge or pheasant.... A day of walked up and/or driven wild partridge, or released and driven pheasant.

The reception
As we attach great importance to the well-being of our guests outside the shooting and hunting activities and therefore offer comfortable and luxurious accommodation. You can also enjoy “Burgundian style” dinners at the formal dining room in the Château, as well as a lunch in one of the many local reputable restaurants.
Should you wish to, we encourage you to take your (non-shooting) partner or friends as previous guests had very positive experiences. We can organise interesting and varied activities (see activities) for your partner.

The dates
Our opening dates are:
Opening: wildfowling beginning of September
Pheasant, partridge, boar and deer end of September

Closing: Pheasant and partridge end of January
All game end of February

Outside the season we can organise private clay-pigeon shooting or fishing.
